Can you specify what spam you refer to? You can configure chat channels to only show the information you want.

hopoksgaming Good point - it needs some time to find the options for this and new players would still benefit for a default-organized chat system (on big servers at least).
I setup a channel for 'MetaData' (spam) then muted it (lol).
So i could de-select it from the main channel and have now a usable chat where i see when someone write smt in it.
