The idea is to have a vertical tab list on the left side of the Storage UI that supports container reordering and drag and drop functionality for items, as well as a short name of the actual container (My Wooden Boat (Fuel Tank) => MWB(FT)).

With that extra condensed list, a huge storage list would be much easier to manage. As well as drag&drop to move items would not need huge amounts of scrolling to get from the source container to the target container.

-Clicking on the container Tab, scrolls the container list to that container.

-Short name as mentioned above to Identify containers in the tab list

-Searching for items highlights the containers on the tab list that contain that item

-Drag&Drop from items on the tab to move those items into that container

-Possibility to reorder containers via that list (would be much faster, less scrolling)
