Town "Rooms"; Hospital, Library, Courthouse

The idea is to have additional housing bonus rooms that are provided to everyone in the town. Think of it like a Culture property but you can have a "Hospital" property type that you put bedroom/seating/lighting furniture into and new "Hospital" type furniture.
Some other property types could be Library/School and Courthouse. Think town infrustrastructure, like how people in real life want to live near a good school and hospital. Something a town can invest in that benifits all players in that town through the housing bonus system.
For Countries and Federations, you could apply the property to all members as well with the normal additional room bonus reductions with the best providing the full benefit.

This is a great idea! More things like this promote more collaboration too! It’d be nice if the buildings had some overall benefit to all players within that town/country? Like maybe for education type buildings it gives an XP perk with the new unlimited star spending that was mentioned on the roadmap? Healthcare buildings could maybe be tied to a slight housing multiplier for all like you mentioned. Maybe other things could put population cap on how large a city can grow like a river-aqueduct-sewer tier? This would promote people to join other towns and not just the largest one they see first. Not sure what courthouses could be used for.

I do like your idea of giving them their own special bonus but I prefer the simplicity of adding it to the existing Exp housing bonus system as it'd be easier to mod additional property types once the base system is in if they are behave the same, just with different furniture requirements (and a few unique furniture thrown in).
I'm not sure how the population cap would work. It does make sense that a small hosipital would struggle with a lot of players. It might have a negative effect though of suggesting towns shouldn't accept players so they can maximize thier Exp. So probably best to just not worry about town size.

Dean Yeah your probably right about the town size thing. I don’t know exactly what it’d be but if it was XP + some perk to a citizen that was relevant to each building type, it’d feel more immersive? Like maybe library’s-schools-research lab could be where you make all BU’s, AU’s, and MU’s AND XP. Like they have a designated place to put a research table. Maybe a herbotologist, clinic, hospital could be like doubled down on XP like your idea for all citizens. Maybe river-aqueduct-water treatment plant does XP AND crop and tree growth rate increase or idk. Literally anything that FEELS like building one building over the other for a certain town feels like a collaborative decision. Regardless mate, love the idea. Even simple just XP alone for all citizens is pretty sick.
