Most building materials have their own unique features, and mortared stone appears quite outdated and bland in comparison to other materials. I'd propose to add unique shapes to them: arches. They should be a multiblock shape, just like ramps, and automatically appear when the shape is composed correctly.
There are two variants:
  1. Arches are as close to a full half circle as possible without excessive blocks
  2. Arches are flatter but easier to construct without guessing
Downsides: a lot of prefabs to be made
Benefits: not only do they look dope, but on top of that, they're going to incentivise players to build more structurally sound and realistic structures
