Filtering for recipe
Chrescerya Chrescerya
Looking at the current recipes, if you make stone roads it would take just any gravel. This might not be the wanted behaviour as you might want to keep crushed limestone for quicklime or glass.
Having an option to enable/disable certain ingredients from a recipe (that uses tags) would help a lot in keeping valuable resources without wasting into recipes that could use more generic ones.

Exclude x item in crafts

Many crafts can use multiple mats but sometimes you don't want that to happen because they're more expensive.
example: ink - uses both oil and flax seed oil. I don't want it to use flax seed as it's generally more expensive and is needed in other crafts.
Create a system where you can exclude certain items in the crafts menu.

Allow mats under a "tag" to be individually unchosen when crafting, if desired.

When crafting roads, for instance, the "crushed rock tag" lets the recipe consume any crushed rock in the available storage. It would be nice to add an additional floating window on such recipes that allow the user to deselect specific items that fall under the tag.
Example: I want to use my crushed limestone for making glass, and not for making roads. I do not want to have to create different storage areas for each table to work off of, especially with the new changes to property size. Thus, I would like to tell my wainwrights table to craft roads without using any crushed limestone.
Shouldn't be a hard fix.

Let us select what item is taken into account when the recipe requires a TAG.

Allow cooks to select ingredient priority
Luna Cupcakes
Many recipes include tags, "fruit", "mushroom" etc. I think it would be a nice quality of life update for chefs to be able to filter what items are used for what recipe. For example, if I wanted to make a bunch of millionaire salad, I would need lots of Cookenia mushrooms. Now if I queue up another recipe that just accepts the "mushroom" tag, it can eat up all the Cookenia mushrooms before the salad batch is completed. It would be nice as a cook to be able to queue something up and prioritize certain items to be used first, or not at all. That way I can uncheck cookenia mushrooms from the other recipe and I can ensure I will have enough mushrooms for the salads. Right now the only way to do that is through selecting different storages, which becomes a pain late into the cycle.

You could already achieve this by sorting gravel depending on its type into storages and then sort them by your priority or unlink those you don't want to be used.

Dennis Scholz: The problem becomes when you queue up 100s of roads and just have buy order in shop for different types of gravel. Starting to setup multiple stores with multiple stockpiles for each is too tedious
